"OAKS EBONY"

Standing at stud in NARRABRI is the impressive son of Docs Freckles Oak. Ebony's dam "Dolly Doc" (Poco Peppy Doc/Suzy Lark) also needs no introduction to the Quarter Horse cutting world. She was known as a very honest and talented mare who finaled in most cutting futurities in 1987.

Oaks Ebony has been campaigned very successfully as a 2 & 3 year old. Ebony has won halter, hacking, working and snaffle bit events at branch, state and/or national level of performance. As a three year old he achieved the High point horse of the show award at 2001 Dubbo Breeders Championships and placed third in the National Futurity held at Scone, 2001.

Ebony commenced cutting training under the diligent and professional hand of Sarah Welks in Tamworth. Due to an unexpected illness (pneumonia & laminitis) Ebony was retired to stud and his opportunity to compete further was ceased.

Ebony’s progeny are now performing under saddle and are consistently turning heads. Some of his young progeny that have been successfully competing include:

Ebony is crossing well with ASH mares, giving the progeny more substance, natural athleticism & cattle sense, whilst putting a bit more confirmation and style back into the traditional stock horse.

"Waymere Inspector" has commenced his show career and has been both consistent and impressive. He has won or placed in every futurity, turning heads as he goes. Inspector carries the great bloodlines of Warrenbri Omega, double cross of Elliots Creek Cadet and Abbey.

“Waymere Inspector” has had a limited show career to date, however, he has certainly been consistently in the winners circle. Inspector has been Led Champion and Supreme at Branch level, placed at Nationals and won futurities. At Sydney Royal 2005 he placed second in his colt class. His first performance under saddle was at the North West Branch Show at Narrabri in May 2005, where he  won the strongly contested 3 year old Progressive Futurity. Waymere Inspector’s progeny are now for sale and they are impressive.
